Day 205/365 - Birthday Bowling Bash

In honor of Adriana's quarter century of life on this Earth, she, Desiree, MJ, Chris, and I journeyed to far Bethesda to celebrate with two games of bowling, two rounds of shots, two pitchers of beer, two rounds of appetizers, and entirely too much fun. From there, it was on to the Tastee Diner for some late night gnoshing and then a quick stop at the revolving Skydome bar in Crystal City for a good night view of the city.

Day 173/365 - Happy 30th B'day, Des!

Today was my friend Desiree's 30th birthday. Some of us got together at her place to eat, drink, and laugh ourselves silly. It's a great way to spend an evening, even if it isn't anyone's birthday.

Day 151/365 - Cake = Yum!

Because I was in Venice for my birthday last weekend, my friends decided to have me over for cake today to celebrate. Desiree and Adriana made me this luscious cake from scratch.

It has a scrumptious mango filling and a fondant covering and it was decorated with some of my favorite things -- Speed Racer, SpongeBob, Patrick, Eve, and Wall-E. It's pure awesomeness, not to mention pure deliciousness.
